LEED CERTIFICATION CREDITS WORKSHEET

January 25, 2010
The following is the list of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credits we perceive are obtainable from each category as they apply to the use of our product:

MATERIALS AND RESOURCES

CREDIT 2.1 Construction Waste Management : (1PT.)

Divert 50% From Landfill

Intent
Divert construction, demolition debris from landfill disposal. Redirect recyclable recovered resources back to the manufacturing process. Redirect reusable materials to appropriate sites.

Requirements
Develop a waste management plan, quantifying material diversion goals. Recycle and/or salvage at least 50% of construction, demolition waste. Calculations can be done by weight or volume but must be consistent throughout.

Project Application
As this is a leased product, contractor (Envy MWS) will install, maintain, and remove temp walls and track all diverted debris through the EPA’s Wastewise program.

CREDIT 2.2 Construction Waste Management: (1 PT.)

Divert 75% From Landfill

Intent
Divert construction, demolition debris from landfill disposal. Redirect recyclable recovered resources back to the manufacturing process. Redirect reusable materials to appropriate sites.

Requirements
Develop a waste management plan, quantifying material diversion goals. Recycle and/or salvage an additional 25% (75% total) of construction, demolition waste. Calculations can be done by weight or volume but must be consistent throughout.

Project Application
As in credit 2.1, contractor (EnvyMWS) shall install, maintain, and remove temp walls and track all diverted landfill debris through the EPA’s Wastewise program.

INNOVATION IN DESIGN

CREDIT 1.1-1.4 Innovation in Design: (1-4 PTS.)

Intent
To provide job teams and projects the opportunity to be awarded points for exceptional performance above the requirements set by the LEED for New Construction Green Building Rating System and/or innovative performance in Green Building categories not specifically addressed by this Rating System.

Requirements
In writing, identify the intent of the proposed innovation credit, the proposed requirement for compliance, the proposed submittals to demonstrate compliance, and the design approach that might be used to meet the requirements.

Project Application
In addition to Materials and Resources credits 2.1 and 2.2 we have exceeded the Leed rating system by diverting 100% of the construction debris generated from the use of MSDW temp walls and as well, the product is a zero waste product itself. It also improves the air quality for workers by not generating any dust familiar with temp wall construction and demolition. Also eliminates the use for drywall mud, primer, and paint.
